JUNIOR PROJECT MANAGER (HCM)

One of the biggest international pharmaceutical companies with HQ in Basel is looking for a Junior Project Manager.

This is a challenging contracting position starting at the beginning of December until early June 2019.

JOB SUMMARY

In order to support the team in the setup of integration delivery framework, my client is looking for a Junior Project Manager with a technical background. The initial assignment should start ASAP and is for a duration of 6 months.

The Junior Project Manager will have to define the framework and engage with the different teams for creating the delivery process and launch it. They will be supported by the component owners of the solution and the technical architect.

After Global HR solution based on Workday go-live, there is a strong appetite for data distribution in the organization as well as a strategic need of data democratization, while respecting privacy and compliance constraints. While the Workday support team is working on stabilization activities, approximately 30 new integration requests are delayed but need now to be planned. The framework, organization and delivery of this ~30 standard integration must be launched. The framework will have to scale for further ~500 integration coming next year.

YOUR TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Integration Management Process

- Develop and document the integration management process
- Define the tools and forms enabling the integration management process
- Define the monitoring and delivery performance controls

Team engagement and setup

- Align the different teams involved in the delivery process in Basel, Poland, India, Budapest
- Create awareness of the process across the organization and ensure its promotion
- Review, Train and support of the setup of the documentation framework

Planning and launch of the delivery service

- Review the list of the 30-pending requests and categorize them with the respective business analysts and requestors
- Propose delivery planning
- Launch the delivery factory as defined in the integration management process

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE

- 1-3 years' experience IT area within international and multicultural environment (ideally HR IT)
- IT Process Management understanding and experience (ideally 2 years)
- Technology experience, especially in Systems and Data management
- Compliance and data privacy experience (ie GDPR)
- Strong communication skills in English
- Appetite and mindset for innovation and solution ecosystem development
