PROJECT MANAGER
6 MONTHS

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or 4 years of equivalent work experience.
A minimum of 2 years experience in project management.
Working knowledge of policies, practices and systems.
Frequent use and general knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards.
General application of concepts and principles.
Full use and application of standard principles, theories, concepts, and techniques.
Participates in internal and external project management forums to develop expertise in project management methodologies.
Understands and applies approved IT and business project management methods to projects.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Project, Excel, Visio and Powerpoint.

Preferred Qualifications:
Certified Associate Project Manager (CAPM®) from the Project Management Institute.
Should have managed project budgets up to $1Million.
Proficient in RPM for time reporting, scheduling, and project management.
Understands Remedy to review release schedules.
Understands Ariba to procure goods and services.
Understands Cognos for financial processes.
Understands Borland suite for requirements, testing, and document management.
Minimum number of years of experience required:
A minimum of 2 years experience in project management.
