Junior Procurement/Commercial Analyst - £200-£250 per day

Our client, a large consultancy firm in London is looking to recruit a junior procurement/commercial analyst to join a commercial management team on an interim basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES/SKILL SET

- Ability to review contractual documentation such as MSAs, SOW, Engagement Letters and extract and present pertinent information
- Intelligent review and interpretation of this information to assist the Commercial Management team in discussions with end clients
- Engage with Client Service Teams to locate MSAs, SOW and Engagement Letters
- Engage with Contracts Unit to ensure cohesion between both departments and to obtain legal support on large and complex projects (Provide an overview of the work to be undertaken, including context, commercial considerations that will build on legal position)
- Due diligence type research - legal related matters like company search and structure, client organisation hierarchies and parent company relationships and financial reports.
- Excellent IT skills in particular Excel to build models and spreadsheets that support commercial negotiations, run reports from existing tools and interrogate data received from clients
- Understanding of contract law would be an advantage but not essential
- Comfortable reading contractual documentation and providing insight
- Good interpersonal skills to work with the Commercial Management team and other functions such as Finance and Contracts Unit
- Requires a can-do attitude and a willingness to work at pace
- Be the go-to person in the Commercial Management team for data and analytics
