JUNIOR PROCUREMENT ANALYST

LOCATION: WARRINGTON

DURATION: INITIALLY 6 MONTHS

Exclusive opportunity! Steria Ltd are looking for a strong Request Analyst. You will be working on one of our key Government clients, for initially 6 months, starting ASAP. You will be based from Steria headquarters in Warrington.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Day to day management of the RFS Mailboxes.

Managing the end to end process for all types of RFS within assigned areas including:- Assigning RFS Owners

Ensuring that responses to RFS are returned to the Areas within agreed timescales.

Ensuring all RFS SLAs are achieved.

Escalation of impending and/or SLA breaches plus delivery and area issues to the Service Desk Manager, Purchasing Support Manager and/or CSM when necessary.

Placing corresponding procurement orders with 3rd party suppliers

Maintenance and update of Blanket Purchase orders within Oracle Financials including creation of OMNI Programme purchase order requests.

Regular liaison with the Areas, CSMs, and 3rd party suppliers

Regular liaison with other OMNI Programme teams including OMNI Commercial Team, OMNI Configuration Management, Technical Services Group, Change Management Team and Service Desk

Providing estimate delivery dates and regular progress updates to their areas.

Ensuring that Proof of Deliveries (POD), Goods Received Notes (GRN) or completion certificates are received from all areas for all RFS.

Maintenance and update of all asset information within the CMDB.

Provision of supporting documentation for customer invoicing

Providing advice and guidance to areas on how to use the Product and Services Catalogue (PSC).

Maintenance of Product list within the PSC including notification of updates, End of Life items and new items.

Ensuring HP Service Desk is updated on a regular basis regarding progress of all RFS, including all email correspondence and telephone calls.

Providing an initial Quality check on all documentation before sending onto the areas.

Investigating invoice discrepancies and queries.

To comply with relevant NPS Security Policies

To adhere to strict work instructions

EXPERIENCE:

Proven experience of working on a helpdesk in an IT environment.

Proven Customer service skills and experience of dealing and resolving difficult customer issues. Should be able to demonstrate customer service excellence.

Experience of working within Service Level Agreement's.

Excellent organisational skills and be used to working to deadlines in a demanding environment.

Awareness of ITIL service management processes and practices is advantageous but not essential, ITIL Foundation v3 qualified

A positive attitude towards teamwork and contribute to the achievement of Team Goals.

Knowledge of Service desk systems such as HP Service Desk, HP Openview and associated tools is advantageous but not essential.

The ability to explain technical issues in a Customer Friendly way.
