Junior Portfolio Reconciliation Analyst - Brussels - 300 Euros per day

My client, an Investment Bank based in BRUSSELS, requires a JUNIOR PORTFOLIO RECONCILIATION ANALYST with experience gained in Collateral Management or middle or Back Office (should be a plus but it is not mandatory). Must speak fluent English.

MANDATORY:

- Experience gained in Collateral Management or middle or Back Office should be a plus but it is not mandatory

PREFERABLE:

- General product knowledge on derivative products.
- Problem Solving: work experience gained in a role requiring significant problem solving skills

CONTEXT:

- The Reconciliation Team compares the transactions records with its counterparties
- Reconciliations are done on a pro-active basis.
- The team interacts closely with Traders, Marketers, Legal, Credit and Operations.
- The collateralised portfolios consist of practically all products traded within the client's Capital Markets, including OTC Fixed Income and Equity Derivatives, Swaps, FX, Credit Derivatives, FRA's, CAPs, Swaptions and Exotics.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

- Internal Set-Up and understanding counterparty's process.
- Maintenance of 98% Matching Ratio
- Portfolio Valuation Analysis.
- Trade Population Analysis.
- Break management.
- Escalation & Effective Communication (Management-Internal/External Clients).
- Understanding of internal system issues.
- Close interactions with margin calls team to explain dispute
- Interactions with Margin calls Team/Counterparties and TriOptima when delays occurs
- Follow-up of Data Integrity Issues
- Close communication with counterparties including formal conf calls.
