Junior PHP Developer
Location: Antwerp, Belgium
Duration: 6 months+ (long term contract)
Pay Rate: €300 p/d

A world leader in the provision of solutions to the travel industry, my Client is currently looking for PHP software development engineers to assist with the build of next generation of software.

Technical Skills:
* UNIX, Linux
* Object Oriented programming techniques, design patterns
* PHP 5.2 & 5.3
* Familiarity with test driven development & testing tools (PHPUnit & Selenium)
* (X)HTML/CSS/Javascript/JSON/Ajax
* XML/Web Services
* EDIFACT knowledge is advantageous

Job Experience:
* PHP/Zend MVC environment is required
* Dojo/Ajaz JavaScript Web environment is required

Tasks:
* Define user requirements for development or improvement of existing software solutions
* Design technicalsolutions and perform feasibility studies
* Propose technical solutions
* Model, design and implement databases
* Conduct unit, packgae and performance tests of software, ensuring a high quality at all stages
* Participatein the validation/acceptance phase of the product cycle
* Produce software documentation

Education:
* MSc Computer Science or related technical field/equivalent experience
* Fluent in English
