A very exciting opportunity has arisen within a well known company based in Warwickshire, for an Artworker to join their team on a 6 month fixed term contract. This company is a large well known name within the pharmaceutical industry.

They are looking for a fantastic artworker with experience in packaging, who will be able to take existing designs and templates and present them at a finished standard to the clients. This person will ideally be educated to degree level and ideally have some experience in a professional design role, though graduates with strong portfolios showing packaging work will be considered.

The successful candidate will have the following roles/responsibilities:
Creating artwork and making amendments to artwork as and when required
Ensuring that all relevant information is collated, up to date and accessible, following the Process from concept through to launch
Ensuring that all designs follow brand guidelines
Co-ordinating projects on an ad-hoc basis
Attending print runs when necessary
Working with Category Managers, Buyers and Design Agencies to assist in the creative development of the range

The successful candidate will have the following skills/qualities:

Full knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, mainly Illustrator and Photoshop
Experience of working on product packaging (portfolio examples)
A working knowledge of design and print processes
Excellent communication skills and able to communicate with people of all levels
Excellent administrative and organisational skills
An understanding of regulations in relation to packaging requirements across product ranges (desirable)
Relevant design related qualification (desirable)
