This developer would be joining the banks core banking data warehouse team which is based on a Teradata platform which deals with extremely high volumes of complex banking data. This Developer would be responsible for supporting the senior subject matter experts for both development and support activities. They would be responsible for expanding the current Teradata data warehouse and enhancing the current platform through extensive performance tuning. This Data Warehouse is going through an extended period of growth therefore this developer would be expected to contribute to a number of exciting projects and be heavily involved in plenty of development using some of the latest development tools on the market. This team work with the following technology, Teradata V13, IBM Mainframe, JCL, TSO, Datastage and Ab Initio, therefore any experience with these skills would be highly advantageous, however training will be provided on all technology for someone with the right attitude, who wants to learn new technology and propel their career.
