Junior Java Developer - Secret Clearance Job

JUNIOR JAVA DEVELOPER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in O'Fallon, Illinois.

POSSESSION OF AN ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED AS A CONDITION FOR EMPLOYMENT.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- The upgrade, modification, and maintenance of the Air Carrier Analysis Support (ACAS) system.
- Gather requirements, analysis, design, code, test and document application and database program changes.
- Analyzes customer's functional and business requirements; translates customer needs into specifications for system.
- Provides management with proposed solution project plans, including schedule milestones and cost estimates.
- Develops and models solutions, including delivery of documentation and both system level and unit level test plans.
- Evaluates tools and processes to increase team productivity; shares experience with other programming staff.
- Performs technical research and feasibility studies to support business proposals for ACAS and other NCI projects.
- Serves as Release Coordinator on a rotating basis.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- ACTIVE SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience with: Java programming; Oracle 10g or 11g; SQL.
- Knowledge of Model-View-Controller Architecture.
- Familiarity with the following tools/concepts: Data Modeling, Struts 2, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Unix commands & Shell Scripts, Web Security Standards & best, practices, JDeveloper, WinCVS, ErWin, CSDiff, PuTTY, WinSCP3, SQLDeveloper and SQL+.
