Junior Java Developer, Java, Fixed Income, Front Office, London

A Junior Java Developer is required to join this top investment banking client to be part of the Fixed Income Technology team. The Junior Java Developer will be working in the Front Office playing a key role in major project related work and responsibility for small projects and related support tasks. The Front Office team will require the new developer to develop new software as required by the business, maintain existing codebase, provide 2nd level support and the improve the existing code base based on the guidelines set by the team management.

The Junior Java Developer will have to have the following key skills:

- Strong educational background (Computer Science or Mathematics)
- 1-2 years experience with server side core java
- Database exposure - Sybase, Oracle or SQL Server
- Enthusiastic about technology and wanting to work in a fast-paced environment
- Very good analytical and problem solving skills
