One of our clients, an international company in the financial services' industry is currently looking for a Junior JAVA Developer
Start: 1/7/14
End: 31/12/14
Location: South of Brussels
Scope of Work:
Development of Web Applications (My Standards and My Standards Readiness Portal), including Java Development (Back End), JSF development (Front End), deployment and basic system operations on Development Environments.
Skills:
Min 1 year experience with:
- Programming (algorithms, OO design, code design)
- Basic Unix/Solaris Skills (install application, etc)
- JAVA SE6 (incl. Java coding standards)
- Web Applications and Web Servers (Tomcat, Apache or other)
- HTML, Javascript, XPATH
- REST services (HTTP)
- Relational Database + Object-Relational Mapping
Profile:
smart, structured, motivated, developer (university or engineer graduate), who deeply enjoys coding, feels pride at showing achievements, will integrate a working team and is not afraid of learning and researching new technologies.
The candidate should be passionate about web technology and should show experience (even on personal projects) with web frameworks and development (even different from the one we use in this project)
