JUNIOR IT COMMUNICATIONS & PRODUCT MARKETING
LOCATION BASEL, CH
JOB MISSION
The Junior IT Communications & Product Marketing person is responsible for promoting and creating engaging Communication and Marketing content. IT supports the next generation of scientists who in turn develop and maintain the impressive drug pipeline. IT Awareness and Adoption are a global team who are responsible for the development of communication and marketing material to support . The team's mission is to raise awareness and train the scientists & employees. This role, it would include creating global emails, blogs, marketing campaigns, posters, digital signage, and other mediums to get a important messages out there and understood.
JOB DIMENSIONS
The Junior IT Communications & Product Marketing person will report directly to Global Co-Lead, Awareness & Adoption and will be a member a team based in Basel. This role will work closely with both the Awareness (Communications) & Adoption (Training) teams equally to help define, create product launches, product upgrades, product retirements, training advertisement for software applications, incident outage messages etc.
- Maintain the LMS (Learning Management System), and advertise accordingly
- Work with key business partners in defining key messages, to help recipients understand the impact of technological changes
IDEAL BACKGROUND/CAPABILITIES
- Strong communication, design & proofing skills in English and German
- Fluent English speaker, intermediate to advanced German language skills are highly desirable
- 1 year's experience in a communications/marketing role
- Equivalent to Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Communications
- Able to work effectively as a team player, as well as use own initiative, and ability to work under pressure and to tight timelines.
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE
- Experience & interest in working with social media
- Natural science education or training an advantage
- Excellent working knowledge of common applications (Microsoft Outlook, Powerpoint & Adobe)
- Learning Management Systems (LMS): General SCORM & LMS experience an advantage
