Junior/Intermediate MS SQL and Oracle DBA

JUNIOR/INTERMEDIATE ORACLE AND MS SQL DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR

On behalf of our client, a leading global company within finance, we are looking for several Oracle and MS SQL Database Administrator. For these contract positions based in Zürich in Switzerland our client is looking for an English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible.

MAIN DUTIES INCLUDE:

- 24/7 Shift Work
- Incident Management (1st Level Support for central technical infrastructure)
- Change Management (mainly SW-Deployments & script execution)
- Operational Requests (Service Requests, User-/Account Management)

TECHNICAL OR OTHER SKILLS: REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Experience in Oracle or MS SQL Database Administration
- Experience in at least one of the following disciplines is a clear plus: Unix/Linux Systems Administration or Microsoft Windows Systems Administration
- Ready/willing to learn additional technologies
- Ready/willing to work in 24/7 shifts
- Good English
- Motivated & innovative, can-do attitude
- Team Player
- Good MS Office skills is an advantage
- Scripting knowledge (VBS, VBA, C-Sharp) is an advantage
