Proteus Europe is searching for a Junior GIS Developer for a contract role in Brussels, Belgium
Our Client:

Your New role:
Design and construction of Geographical Information Systems for external portals and internal monitoring systems. Provision of expert advice on maps Embedded in Front End development technologies, geographical user interface and integration with visual components. Analysis and review of usability, functional and non-functional requirements. Specification and design of presentation interfaces with optimal usability/user experience. Conduct the development of user interface best practices through prototypes and pilots. Liaise with other project teams as necessary to address cross-project interdependencies
Your Skills and experience:
Essential Skills:
Strong knowledge of GIS platforms integrated with Front End apps. Experience with frameworks like Node.js, AngularJS or React. Hands-on experience with Angular2 and Angular Universal is an asset. Solid understanding of Web fundamentals and common industry patterns (particularly MVC, RESTful services). Experience with Amazon Web Services and cloud development is an asset. Proficient in continuous code delivery and unit testing. Creative and independent spirit, team player, communicative, passionate about application development, eager to learn and independent knowledge cruncher. Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings.
