A leading IT reseller in Hertfordshire are looking for a highly capable and innovative Graduate / Junior Frontend Developer to join Storm Technologies' Software Development Team. Candidates must fulfil below requirements:

Responsibilities:

* Maintain and continually improve our web applications' front-end
* Ensure Company content and web-pages are functional across all popular browsers and operating systems
* Design, create and manage the Companies HTML email campaigns

Requirements - A strong understanding in several of these areas are essential for the role:

* Ability to demonstrate a strong understanding of web design principles and up-to-date with the latest design trends
* JavaScript: jQuery
* CSS
* T-SQL
* Cross browser compatibility and responsive design
* Version control and good code management
* Awareness of Web standards and best practices
* Able to manage own projects and work well under pressure

Nice to have - non essential:

* Understanding of .NET technologies including MVC4, C# VB.Net and SQL Server so if the candidate has experience with these technologies it will help the integration with our team.
* Understanding of managing web and email analytics
* Experience of search engine optimisation
* An understanding of Agile methodologies and SCRUM
* Team collaboration
* MySql also useful

Skills:

* HTML5/CSS3/Javascript
* Experience of content management systems including WordPress
* Adobe Photoshop and Fireworks
* API integration
* Understanding of browser limitations/differences, responsive design
* Team player with an infectious positive energy, great initiative, and a get-it-done attitude.
