Wanted: Junior Financial Planning Analyst (m/f)

Position Overview:

The Financial Planning Analyst will focus on generating accurate and timely analytics for the business. In particular, these efforts will focus on the financial models necessary to support decision making related to capital expenditures and budgeting. In addition, the role will be focused on creating or developing analytics for numerous financial elements of the entire business.

Position Reporting & Location:

Position reports directly to the Senior Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis and is based close to Mannheim

Responsibilities/Essential Job Functions:

* Build and/or utilize existing analytics and supporting written justifications for capital acquisition cases across the entire Automotive business: commercial, operations, and logistics.
* Develop and implement tools to drive optimal economic decisions
* Support management strategic thinking and decisions via industry/market research and economic thinking.
* Prepare and present materials supporting periodic business reviews and quarterly meetings.
* Perform ad hoc analysis
* Participates in and contributes to key initiatives and projects and additional duties, as assigned.

Experience, Requirements, & Education:

* First experience in Financial Analyses / Corporate Analyst experience in a medium to large scale business environment.
* Familiarity with P&L's and standard financial statements preferred.
* Good Knowledge in US-GAAP, SAP and good English and German language skills
* · Bachelor's degree in Business Administration - Finance, Supply Chain, Economics, or related field required. MBA or related master's course work desired.
