Junior Financial Analyst Internship: Location - London City: Rate £70.00 - £80.00 per day MAX: Long term contract role

My client is one of the world's largest blue chip Insurance organisations and they are looking for a Junior Financial Analyst to join their inter programme. This is an exciting opportunity for a Graduate of University qualified (minimum 2:1). This opportunity gives the chance to work within a Global Finance team for a global leader based in the City Center of London. The role will support the Business Partner on development of the appropriate reporting. Also to provide insightful analysis that enables business to make decisions that improve effectiveness and efficiency. Experience working in a Financial Services firm, particularly interested in speaking with Grad's with a Insurance background.

Responsibilities of Junior Financial Analyst Intern:

- To support analysis of top line, acquisition cost management and Expense Governance across the Global business
- Provide in-depth analysis of expenses at a functional and category level
- Managing risks and identifying opportunities to achieve our annual targets and strategic plans
- Embedding production and cost initiatives & cost initiatives
- Support submissions and ensure deliver-ables are in line with timetable and supported by quality insight and sufficient commentary
- Support the development of a monthly Distribution Metrics Pack with key efficiency measures, trend analysis
- Analysis/Estimate of the cost impact of strategic initiatives
- Tracking of the actuals

Skills and Experience of Junior Financial Analyst Intern:

- Advanced MS Excel essential (formulae, basic macros)
- MS PowerPoint
- MS Access
- Used to working to tight deadlines
- Experience working in a Financial Services firm
- Problem Solving
- Dependability Customer Focus
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- University qualified (minimum 2:1)
