Junior DLP Consultant

For one of my clients in the financial industry, I am currently looking for a junior DLP consultant to join an existing team and support them in their workload. This is a 5 month contract with possibility to extend. Within the first two weeks of the contract you will receive a specific training for the job, especially on how to scan financial applications and report potential risks.

Requirements:
- Basic experience in the financial industry
- Basic experience with data leak/data loss prevention
- SQL

Start: 1st of August 2014

TASKS:

- Lead the kickoff meetings
- Set up, execute and monitor scans
- Analyze scans (Level 1)
- Categorize incidents
- Communicate with Level 2 team
- Send out final reports
- Reports to the Dispatcher/Escalation Manager
- Escalates issues to the Dispatcher/Escalation Manager

AUTHORITIES:

- Scan Targets
- Dispatch to Scan Analyst 1
- Handle special request according to Dispatcher/Escalation Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Ensure the whole scan request is executed
- Single point of contact for the request or from kickoff meeting on
- In charge for committed and communicated deadlines
- Improve quality of scanning
- Escalate when timeline and quality are not met

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Strong communication in English and German
- Basic knowledge on auditing/IT risk and compliance
- Leadership skills

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

- Administration experience
- Basic banking experience
- Basic IT experience
- Basic knowledge in Data Leakeage/Lost prevention
