Junior Developer

MISSION:

To provide digital development, enhancement and expertise. To support the rapidly growing Digital Team so that all web platforms are current and the design and functionality consistent with Club policy and the needs of its visitors. To help shape the development the Club website/s and online booking system/s to increase engagement, conversion and revenue in line with ambitious targets.

Reports To: DIGITAL DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

JOB FUNCTION:

STRATEGIC SUPPORT

- To support the Digital Development Manager and development team, work with colleagues from across the business to help shape the overall communications strategy for the Club in the digital space.
- Proactively identify opportunities for new product and commercial development beneficial to the business, its members and customers, encouraging the use of and delivering effective digital technologies and applications for our users and consumers in the online environment.

WEB DEVELOPMENT SERVICES

- Scope and develop bespoke .net web applications including internal back office and external customer facing solutions.
- Liaise with Project Development Managers, Business Systems and external suppliers to ensure continued operation and performance of web systems
- Arranging / coordinating user testing projects and collating user experience feedback for implementation where relevant

Prepare, implement and manage the following project documentation and development documentation:

- Change Control
- Live release control and testing
- Identify & set-up internal and external testing panels and process documents
- Approval & sign off procedures for internal departments
- Create live stage handover documentation
- Online Booking System support for development / integration
- Support the Digital Search and Content & Paid Search Teams in their requirements for accurate tagging, tracking and measurement by embedding, testing and maintaining reporting codecustomer focused with a strong commercial acumen. The ability to plan and organise well is vital as is a tendency for innovation and proactivity. Possess a genuine enthusiasm for the digital space and relish the complexity and challenge of online environments. Demonstrates excellent attention to detail with flair and determination, ambitious to achieve success and deliver results for the Club.
