Junior Developer

Software developer with knowledge of the software ForceTen from Kenexa, software QuestionMark Perception, software SharePoint. Contract role 7 months - Luxembourg based.

My client has an excellent opportunity that requires a developer who understands and has worked with the following training software: Learning Management System (CLIX from Im-C), Assessment System (QuestionMark Perception), Training Material Management System, Learning and Content Management System (Forceten from Kenexa).

The role will be to perform the following technical duties:
1.Development of an administration tool to support the charging process for courses
2.Maintenance and extension of existing administration tools to support the registration of students 3.Configuration of the training support platform
4.Ad-hoc development of reports on the training administration data. You will be expected to deliver analysis and solution design, development and testing. You will need to have an understanding of the Air Traffic Management domain and:
Ability to understand the technical elements of the training support platform, Ability to modify specific software developments of the training support platform, Ability to develop new software components of the training support platform, Ability to document developed components for handling their support.

The technical skills you require are as follows:
1.Be able to document technical designs and developments in English to ensure hand over of maintenance and update of work developed
2.Have proven experience with the development of web based applications (at least 6 months experience on such projects)
3.Have proven experience with the design of Graphical User Interface (at least 6 months experience on projects involving that technology)
4.Have proven knowledge of development using ASP (at least 6 months experience on projects involving that technology)
5.Have proven knowledge of MS-SQL Database (at least 6 months experience on projects involving that technology)
6.Have proven knowledge of Javascript and HTML (at least 6 months experience on projects involving these technologies)
7.Be able to design web pages in line with Eurocontrol corporate brand guidelines
8.Have proven knowledge of Web Services (at least 3 months experience on projects involving that technology)
9.Have proven knowledge of Windows Server environment and windows server components IIS (at least 3 months experience on projects involving that technology)
10.Debug problems as and when they arrive.
11.Develop in a manner to facilitate future browser compatibility, maintenance and update.
12.Document all developments to enable others to maintain and update.
13.Have knowledge of the software CLIX from Im-C (6 months experience on projects involving that software)
14.Provide guidance on the best technical approaches to take for in-house IT designers and flag up new web based application related developments that may impact on strategy.
