Junior Desktop/Trade Floor Support Engineer - MS Windows - Sydney

Due to an expansion into new markets and further into some existing they're looking for a Junior Desktop Trade Floor Support Engineer with Microsoft Windows skills.

THE TEAM

This role sites within an exceptionally talented team of Infrastructure Engineers working within a very flat managerial structure. The Infrastructure Engineering team is responsible for maintaining and improving all TRADING INFRASTRUCTURE which includes: multiple, off-site Data Centers, Server Hardware, liaising with Brokers, Exchanges, Vendors and CORPORATE INFRASTRUCTURE which includes maintaining Email Servers (Exchange/Active Directory), the onsite Data Centre and Desktop terminals.

THE ROLE

This is a junior role for a Microsoft/Windows aligned Infrastructure Engineer with 2-3 years' experience maximum. You'll initially be responsible for the Sydney operation's CORPORATE INFRASTRUCTURE which involves maintaining Email Servers (Exchange/Active Directory) and Desktop terminals (Windows 7) and will utilize PowerShell Scripting and MDT (Microsoft Deployment Toolkit).

REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE:

- A Junior Desktop/Tradefloor Support profile with 2-3 years' experience.
- Microsoft stack: Windows XP/7/8, Exchange/Active Directory.
- Full, unrestricted Australian working rights - Aus Cit./PR (ESSENTIAL).
- Excellent Interpersonal skills, verbal and written (ESSENTIAL).
- Passion and enthusiasm for technology a drive to be the best (ESSENTIAL).
- Shell Scripting skills: PowerShell, VBScript, SQL (DESIRABLE)
- T related Degree or Diploma and industry relevant certifications.
