JUNIOR DESK SIDE SUPPORT TECHNICIAN:

eurpeoples customer is eeking a junior Junior Desk Side Support Technician to join its internal support team.

JOB SUMMARY:

The desk side support technician will provide technical on site support to customers. The main responsibility is to resolve the open incidents assigned, prioritizing these incidents, following the established procedures for the country/region, trying to impact as less as possible the work of the customer, and using the tools defined to track and report these incidents, (Remedy, Flexnet, ). The desk side support technician can participate in any of the Local or Global projects that take place in the country/region.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Identification, prioritization, resolution/fulfillment of customer incidents.
- Coordinates, diagnoses, and troubleshoots incoming customer inquiries.
- Provides case status updates.
- Implements standard operating procedures and customer service guidelines.
- Responds to and completes customer requests for services.
- Provides technical support to internal desktop systems customers.
- Performs installations, upgrades and backups.
- Provides technical support to internal application customers.
- Supports/troubleshoots network problems.
- Supports/troubleshoots client connectivity
- PC replacements
- May train customers on use of local technology.

PROJECT/INITIATIVE PARTICIPATION

- Participation in Hardware and Software activities.
- Participation on global/local technical projects or initiatives (Workstation SW Platform, Office Moves, NewBuildings, Workstation renewal programs, )
