JUNIOR DATABASE COORDINATOR/DEVELOPER

On behalf of our client, a leading global company within finance, we are looking for a JUNIOR DATABASE COORDINATOR/DEVELOPER. For this contract position based in Zürich in Switzerland our client is looking for an English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible.

Please note that this is a junior position where you have the opportunity to grow into a more senior role.
We are looking for someone who has max. 2 years of professional working experience and high motivation to get become a subject matter expert.

Your main responsibilities will be:

- Coordinate and integrate database deliverables for the Private Banking CRM system and other Front Applications
- All database deliverables are delivered, integrated on time (according to the release plan)
- Report progress to the Release Management and management team
- Make sure, the database environment (in all test stages) is available (according to the release plan)
- Deliver ad-hoc database reports to our customers
- Implement DB change requests for various projects with PL/SQL

The skills and experience needed for this position are:

- Fluent written and spoken English
- Strong communication skills
- Base-Know how of at least one of the following topics and a high motivation to get an expert in at least one of these topics and an experienced professional in the others:
- Experience in SQL/PL/SQL (Scripting/programming)
- Experience in Unix/Shell Scripting
- Experience in data modelling
- Project Management skills
