Junior Data Modeler (CSV - MES) - Pharma

Our client, one of the biggest pharmaceutical companies based in Basel, is looking for a DATA MODELER with strong experience in specifying, configuring, testing and documenting of systems with Computer System Validation (CSV) and applications such as good experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).

This is a contracting role based in the Basel area and planned to start beginning of September until end of March 2018 with extension opportunities.

PROJECT BACKGROUND:

For the MES Business Management Team our client is looking for a contractor to support their Manufacturing Execution Systems in the sterile manufacturing area.

The main responsibility will be the support of the Manufacturing Execution System. You will model and test master recipes, specify and test new system functions and perform the 1st Level Support for the end users. You be in close collaboration with Business, Quality Assurance and IT and will also support running projects. To be prepared for the job an intensive training will be carried out at the beginning of the employment.

TASKS:

- Implementation and validation of systems and IT processes in the manufacturing area
- Production master recipe modelling and testing including master data management
- 1st Level Support
- Support of projects
- Execution of trainings
- Close collaboration with internal and external partners like Business, Informatics, Engineering and Suppliers

IDEAL PROFILE:

- Degree in Informatics or Engineering (Bachelor or Master)
- AT LEAST 3 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE in SPECIFYING, CONFIGURING, TESTING and DOCUMENTING of SYSTEMS (CSV) and applications
- Self-reliant, resilient, flexible and have a high service orientation
- Good technical understanding with good networked thinking
- Strong communication skills
- EXPERIENCE IN MANUFACTURING EXECUTION SYSTEMS (MES)
- Project experience
- EXPERIENCE in PHARMA PRODUCTION or IT environment (GxP, CSV)
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English and German
