Job Title: Junior Data Analyst (internally known as Product Implementation Analyst) Location: Thames Ditton, Surrey, UK Reports to: Product Delivery Team Manager Job Purpose: This is brand new 12 month fixed term opportunity for an individual keen to develop as a Junior Data Analyst. This individual will be responsible for loading and testing report and assessment content via Excel for sales on SHL's online systems. RESPONSIBILITIES Creating and checking Excelâ spreadsheets and xml files containing report and assessment contentLoading and configuring content using bespoke SHL desktop applicationsFollowing processes for testing reports to ensure they look and function correctly: - Checking for accuracy and legibility - Entering test data either manually or using automated software - Checking report outputs - Documenting test results - Problem reporting and tracking Following project plans, monitoring progress and reporting statuses and variances from planAttending project and team meetings as requiredWorks independently with liaison with Product and GTS staff both in the UK and other countries when necessary SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Essential: Some office based experience.Familiar with Microsoft office, primarily Excel and Word. Confident manipulating and comparing data.Good standard of English language skills. Desirable: Data entry and verification. Highly systematic with excellent attention to detail.Experience of testing or software related environments would be advantageous.Ability to read and speak one or more foreign languages to assist with multi-lingual testing. EDUCATION GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above are required. Higher levels of education desirable.
