Junior Data Analyst

THIS IS AN EXCITING OPPORTUNITY FOR A JUNIOR DATA ANALYST TO JOIN A LARGE, CBD BASED, HIGH PROFILE PROJECT. YOU WILL SUPPORT A SENIOR DATA ANALYST IN A DYNAMIC, INTERESTING PROJECT ENVIRONMENT.

As the Data Analyst on the field trial you will be responsible for:

- Reviewing and analysing data and developing reports on status and trends
- Delivery of reports and information to oversight and governance groups on the field trial activity
- Ensuring reports are completed and delivered on time
- Ensuring that suppliers of data are meeting their commitments for delivery of source data in a timely manner

The successful candidate will have good experience in data cleansing, data quality, manipulation and trend analysis, a good understanding of XML, SQL and of data structures and data relationships.

In addition, the successful candidate will have:

- 3 years in a similar role and willing to learn
- Experience in working in projects that follows up service requests and track data related issues to completion.
- Experience developing status and performance reporting
- High attention to detail using well developed analytical skills
- Ability to multitask
- Excellent MS Office skills, in particular MS Excel
- Experience with Business Objects or similar reporting tools

This is an initial 6 month contract, requiring a start as soon as possible.
