MY CLIENT, A LEADING OIL AND GAS ORGANISATION BASED IN ABERDEEN IS URGENTLY SEEKING A BUYER TO JOIN THEIR TEAM FOR A MINIMUM OF 6 MONTHS WITH POTENTIAL FOR EXTENSION
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Buyer with our client in Aberdeen, a world leading Oil and Gas Company.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with internal customers to fulfil requirements for sourcing of materials or services
- Issue RFQs and evaluate quotes
- Negotiate bids and place orders
- Expedite order to ensure on time delivery
- Review account payable disputes
- Review and process material concession and queries from suppliers
- Monitor and address suppliers performance issues
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Previous relevant purchasing experience (preferred oil and gas)
- Good command of the English language, both written and spoken
