Junior Buyer

One of our clients, a multinational company in the pharmaceutical industry currently requires a Junior Buyer with experience in CAPEX

Start: ASAP
Length: 6 months with a possible extension
Location: South of Brussels

Function Description:

Junior Buyer
Reports to: Global Capital Procurement Manager

Mission FACTORS:

Mission Purpose and Key Responsibilities:

* Support for Capital Expenditure Procurement
* Tender preparation & follow-up, commercial (including contract)negotiation
* Ensure good respect of the procurement process (from tender to contract expediting)
* Contracts follow-up, tracking of Suppliers Key Performance Indicators(KPIs)
* Supplier Evaluation & data collection for Business Review Meetings
* Implementation of the procurement strategies & process
* Key support/Business Partner for the Sourcing Team "Automation& Electricity"

Accountability:

* Ensure that tools & strategies developed are implemented to meet business targets in order to meet customers' expectations, compliance requirements, and cost effectiveness, depending on the project
constraints
* Introduce procurement in the earliest stage of project to define the best procurement approach in order to optimize cost and project timing
* Develop strong interface with internal customers in order to implement the procurement process leveraging past experience/industry knowledge to continuously motivate change outside area of direct responsibility
* Early involvement of procurement need to convince people of the addedvalue

Specialized Knowledge:

* Graduate or Business/Sales/Purchasing Master (not mandatory)
* Operational Procurement experience across multiple spent categories(Capex, Opex) is a must.
* Must have an excellent understanding about technical categoriespresent within Building Management systems.
* Flexible thinking in change development, implementation and management
* Result oriented, and able to develop and present strong arguments to convince the need for change
* Excellent negotiation skills
* Good French & English communication skills both written and spoken.
