JUNIOR BUSINESS/DATA ANALYST (BANKING)

On behalf of our client, a leading bank in Zürich, we are looking for a JUNIOR BUSINESS ANALYST WITH A FLAIR FOR DATA AND BANKING EXPERIENCE.

ROLE:

- Support certain manual activities of the tax program with:
- preparation of product related data for submission to authorities;
- support reporting related tasks: especially beginning of the year (Q1) we are expecting significant workload due to a reporting that needs to be prepared for the US tax authority IRS and certain eligible clients
- Diligently analyze the manual activities in order to achieve automation of the manual activities as described above (where possible)

SKILLS:

- 2-3 years of project experience as a business analyst (ability to work in project mode)
- Eager with can do attitude
- Analytical way of thinking, striving to improving existing processes/activities
- Experienced user of Microsoft Access/VBA; experience also in creating/setting up solutions in Access
- English is a must; German is of benefit
- Basic bank products understanding (eg structured products) and regulatory experience (US Withholding taxes) a benefit
- Ability to interact with other, also more senior stakeholders
