Junior Business Analyst - 6-Month Contract

JUNIOR BUSINESS ANALYST

CLIENT:  One of the country's largest health care and health plan providers

JOB DESCRIPTION: 

- Not an IT or Technical role
- Management of 2015 Changes to the National and Regional Benefit Source Tools 
- Applying and QA-ing 2015 Changes to the Customer Benefit Source Tools (65) and SBCs (92)
- Conversion of Benefit Summaries to Benefit Source Tools for Self-Funded groups, to bring the groups to a common standard tool
- Creating benefit design specifications based on Sales and Account Management requests, and QA-ing build reports that are generated based on the specifications
- Structuring and Documenting business rules and processes, with input from Benefit Consultants and Managers
- Ensures that all appropriate infrastructure elements including documents, manuals, policy documents, etc. are kept up to date and current

REQUIREMENTS (MUST HAVE):

- BA/BS or equivalent experience
- Very proficient in Excel (ability to build macros, formulae) and Word
- Access a plus
- Good analytical skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Analysis or business process, assess existing processes and help refine/make more efficient

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE (NICE TO HAVE):

- Ability to plan and track to work, organize, and structure work
- Ability to QA/compare complex Excel documents, and develop efficient ways of cross-comparing across multiple documents
- Knowledge of health care industry and trends preferred

STANDARD WORK HOURS:

- M - F 8 AM - 5 PM
