JUNIOR BUSINESS ANALYST - BASEL - 100%
If you are a JUNIOR BUSINESS ANALYST with IT and UML background, then you are THE person we looking for!
This very exciting opportunity is a CONTRACTING POSITION planned to START THE 18TH OF APRIL until the 31ST OF OCTOBER for one of the BIGGEST PHARMACEUTICAL PLAYERS based in BASEL.
Background:
The candidate will not work on a specific project but will support different projects in different departments like sales, manufacturing, marketing, etc. who have a different understanding of their area. The candidate should bring them on one table and create the understanding for each other.
Key behaviors of the candidate include CURIOSITY, CAREFUL LISTENING (also for the unsaid needs and constraints), as well as COURAGE TO LEAVE WELL KNOWN PATHS and TRY OUT NEW APPROACHES for merging different perspectives across the department.
General information:
* It is important to have an open-minded, friendly and emphatic candidate who could merge different perspectives.
* Start date: 18.04.2017 (latest start date: 02.05.2017)
* End date: 31.10.2017
* Team: Core team of 1-2 people, but many different contacts in different areas (sales, manufacturing, )
Tasks and responsibilities:
* Dealing with different organizational perspectives across multiple business areas, focusing in particular on business information related to diagnostic instruments and associated processes
* Planning and performing analysis in order to support and foster a shared understanding of the domain, to increase Diagnostics readiness towards a digital future
* Investigation, analysis and documentation in terms of business functions and processes and the information they use individually and collectively
Requirements:
* 2-5 years of business and IT experience
* Fundamental knowledge of relevant methodologies, technologies, languages, standards and processes (eg UML)
* University working and thinking level, degree in computer science or life science or comparable education/experience
* Fluent written and spoken business English essential
Nice to Have:
* Knowledge of an UML tool (eg EA Sparx Systems)
