An exciting contract opportunity has become available for a JUNIOR BUSINESS ANALYST to join a large organisation based in the Sydney CBD. Assisting on a major systems upgrade project, you will be responsible for many responsibilities, including the management of documentation relating to business processes, requirements and organisational change. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will identify, measure and analyse business requirements, business impact, procedures, and provide support to communication and training throughout the project life cycle

The Role:

- Assist Senior Business Analysts in the preparation of accurate business requirement documents, and functional and technical specifications for business processes and solutions.
- Gathering critical information via a variety of methods, eg coordinate and facilitate workshops, discussions etc.
- Work with developers to assist in the evaluation of system solutions and ensure they are meeting client requirements.
- Facilitate the design, development and distribution of documents that support changed business and systems processes.

YOUR BACKGROUND:

- Some experience as a Business Analyst, developing business requirements and preparing functional and non-functional specifications, ideally within complex/large information systems projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Project, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint etc.
- Ability to develop and maintain business documents, including user guides, reports, user requirement documentation, surveys and training materials.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with customers, other key stakeholders and suppliers.
- Excellent organisational, time management and prioritising skills.
