Junior Business Analyst

Leading Global Insurance Group requires a junior Business Systems Analyst for their Sydney CBD office for a 12 month fix term contract.

Your role will support and maintain existing B2B products.

ON A DAILY BASIS YOUR ROLE WILL SEE YOU:

- Provide production support and address enhancement requests for the use of existing B2B products which includes answering queries via email, phone or via internal request tracking tool.
- For issues which require escalation to the development team, document business requirement in detail and following change management process.
- Design test plans, execute functional tests and co-ordinate User Acceptance testing. All test results should be well documented.
- Create documentation.
- Gain a sound understanding of business practices by liaising with users from all levels to enable successful partnership of system delivery.
- Attend conference calls with Project team in a different time zone to speed up problem resolution when necessary.
- Maintaining good working relationship peers and other departments.
- Identifying of continuous improvement within your areas of responsibility
- Performing related duties as assigned by your manager.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL HAVE:

- Tertiary qualifications in IT required.
- Currently working as a Business Analyst - Preferably in the Financial Services sector
- Excellent communication and organization skills.  
- A high proficient level of report writing experience.
- Ability to prioritise and perform dissimilar tasks simultaneously.
- Flexible self-starter, with time management skills.
