Junior Data Back Up (EMC Networker)/Storage Administrator- 12 MONTHS CONTRACT/PERMANENT - Luxembourg

The client:

A large consultancy (FTSE 500)

Sitting in the operational side, you will working along 5 senior Data Back-up/Storage Specialist assisting in day to day operations in a complex environment for a high end client in Luxembourg.

Your responsibility:

Prepare and send morning report to the customer concerning the good health of the backup and NAS infrastructures
Analysis and resolution of daily backup issues working with Help Desk Ticket System
Monitoring, analysis and Escalation of critical incidents to the support and colleagues.
Ability to work with customers and maintain a professional attitude and provide good customer service.
Assisting with handling service requests
Resolving problem tickets

Technical skills required:

Proven experienced working with EMC Network backup software
Experience or knowledge of Data Domain storage.
Experience with physical and virtual tape libraries.
Experience with Netapp storage a plus

Interpersonal skills required:

Strong communication and good team spirit.
Ability to solve problems or at least escalade quickly
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Having a willingness to learn and taking initiative is key for this position

Rates:
This can be a contract or a permanent vacancy - Up to 300 Euros per day for the right Junior Data Back Up (EMC Networker) Administrator with all skills and experience required.
