Junior Assurance Associate

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Allegis Group Services are the onsite recruitment partner at RBS and manage all contract and temporary opportunities for RBS M&IB (Markets and International Banking).

We have an outstanding contract opportunity for a Junior Assurance Associate to make their mark with one of the world's largest international banking and financial services companies. In the role of a Junior Assurance Associate, you will play an integral role in helping our client deliver market leading services that set it apart from its competitors.

The purpose of this role is to support Head of Assurance in ensuring that the operational risks and controls in credit processes have been appropriately identified and agreed through governance

ADDITIONAL POSITION DETAILS:

You will perform appropriate testing of controls in credit processes and assisting in reporting the output of that testing to demonstrate adherence to the assurance framework, review and recommend enhancements to that framework so as to ensure it remains fit for purpose, assist in responding to assurance queries/issues of interpretation from credit colleagues as well as other stakeholders and more.

COMPETENCIES:

You will have previous work experience in Controls Testing environment, such as Quality control, Assurance, Assurance testing, audit and similar) within banking. Strong MS Office skills, mainly Excel and PowerPoint.
