Junior Accountant - Eastleigh

Junior Accountant - Eastleigh - £300 per day 6 month contract

Purpose:
The Unity program will replace the current Tandem Policy Administration System with Compass, a Capita administered system and will migrate all policies across. When this is done a new interface will be provided to Aviva to populate the E5 general ledger with financial accounting data. This interface must be thoroughly tested to ensure that the ledger is correctly loaded with the data from Compass.
This testing will require Accountants who have prior knowledge of the existing ledger account structure and who are also able to design new accounting entities to accept the new transactions from Compass.
The timing of the test windows is not ideal as it begins at the same time as our internal accountants will be preparing for year end and therefore, internal Full time staff will not be available. The testing continues on through Dec, Jan, Feb and into March (which is during the year-end period).
It is critical that this testing is carried out during this time period to meet the deadlines and timescales set by the program. The migration is set be implemented on 22 May 2016 - this means a very aggressive testing window during which there are no internal Full time staff available.

*Experience of QC
*Prior experience at FLL
*Experience of life accounting
