Junior Accountant - Buchhalter/in Travel & Expenses

On behalf of a major Pharma client we are urgently looking for an Accountant (Travel & Expenses, T&E) for a 12 months contract in Basel (Switzerland).

You will manage as T&E (travel and expenses) Specialist the processes of the Group entities, ensuring quality and effectiveness of the processes, securing company assets by applying tight controls in the financial transactions, while providing accurate financial information and timely reporting of balances.

Main tasks:

- Act as a Super User for Travel & Expenses
- Interacts with all areas of the Financial Sharing Center (FSC) to ensure correct accounting, financial reporting and settlement of revenue matters is accomplished
- Travel and Expense Claims including receipts processing and payment of claims
- Travel Requests process including approvals and advance payment
- Manage Training on process and related systems for end-users, and outsourced operations
- General and Customer service including delegations, reminders and reporting
- Coordinate with local entity, FSC and outsourced activities to provide seamless service.

Required skills:

- Administrative Education, focus on Acounting is not mandatory but a major advantage for the role
- Good customer service skills
- Learning Agility
- Good working knowledge with IT applications.

Project details:

- Start: ASAP
- Duration: until 31.08.2013/~12 months
- Language: good to very good German and English skills (French is an asset)
- Work place: Basel, 100% (40 hours per week), no remote or home work option.
