Jsimal Matmas SAP Data Migration Expert Material Master for Basel

Materail Master Data migration expert for a global SAP Implementation project required in Basel with bi-weekly travel to Prague.

Role description:

- Responsible for data migration activities for material master
- Understand the global functional specification incl. the mapping document
- Interact with business data owners and ERP team
- Create and maintain conversion workbooks
- Define the detailed value mappings
- Adjust detailed data cleansing, construction, harmonization and data readiness rules to local data

Be a point of contact for the factory services:

- Clarify questions regarding the value mappings during build phase
- Perform initial check of test load results together with the factory services (before declaring completion of test load)
- Support data readiness
- Review the results of the regular data readiness checks and interact with the local business data owners to define needed actions
- Own data validation report (DVR)
- Interact with business data owners, executing the validations, to create the data validation report
- Interact with the global and local teams to analyse test and production load issues and classify by potential root cause for issue resolution
- Manage issue resolution related to data requirements (value mappings, data cleansing, data construction

FUNCTIONAL/TECHNICAL KNOW-HOW:

Preferred:

- Knowledge of GxP and CSV
- Knowledge of SAP R/3 module related to migration objects in scope Experience in data migration and data cleansing
- Experience in global SAP template rollouts

Nice to have:

- Experience in ETL tools and/or ABAP development

EDUCATION:

- Minimum - Bachelor degree and/or relevant business experience;
- Preferred - Master degree in information science or engineering or natural science

LANGUAGES:

- Fluency in English essential
- Fluency in one or more European languages preferred

EXPERIENCE/PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENT:

- A minimum of 5 years data migration experience in material master
- A minimum of 5 years experience in SAP in the pharmaceutical industry
- Expert knowledge in several SAP modules and related business processes (eg finance/controlling, logistics, production/quality management, sales/distribution)
- Ability to interact with all levels of the organization
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Work effectively both independently and within a team environment
