Software Specialists is looking for JR. SYSTEMS ENGINEER IN HARTFORD, WI (06 Months) for one of our prestigious client.

Below are the details.

JOB TYPE: 06 MONTHS CONTRACT

LOCATION: HARTFORD, WI

JOB TITLE: JR. SYSTEMS ENGINEER IN HARTFORD, WI

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's Degree in computer information technology, Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology is preferred or equivalent experience.
-

Four to Five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
-

Industry related experience in a leadership role.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

-

Expert knowledge of Linux operation systems.
-

Knowledge in Software Engineering including Scripting languages such as PowerShell, VBScript, python, jboss, etc.
-

Knowledge in Virtualization - specifically VMware.
-

Understanding of database systems such as MySQL or SQL Server.
-

Knowledge of server and datacenter architecture.
-

Experience with server configuration.

NOTE:

This position will work on 1st shift for a few weeks after hire and will then go to nights (typically 6pm to 10/11pm) about 4 hours per night 5-6 days per week until project is completed.
