Jr. Programmer - Entry Level

DESCRIPTION:
SoMi Data has an opening for a Junior Programmer, This is a contract/project position with potential of becoming a full time position.

ABOUT SOMI DATA:
Founded in 2006 SoMi Data is a specialized information systems solutions provider for the restaurant, retail and hospitality industries. Addressing the specific markets needs of these industries allows SoMi Data to deliver custom applications that are not otherwise readily available.

SKILLS: Must be familiar with these programming tools.

- Asp.NET developer,
- MVC
- C#
- JavaScript
- Source Control, and
- Reporting Services
- SQL Server 2008 R2 Experience a plus
- Coolite Experience a plus

REQUIREMENTS:

- Must be enthusiastic about learning about software development
- Self-motivated; demonstrated interest in taking initiative, anticipating needs, multi-tasking and supporting projects from the beginning to completion with minimal direction.
- Must have database development experience or computer science college coursework
- Excellent written, organizational, and verbal communications skills
- Ability to interact with a variety of internal and external individuals, Must be a team player and work well with others
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
