Jr. Engineer Job

JR. ENGINEER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in SAN CARLOS, CA.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Minimum of a Bachelors degree in an engineering discipline is required. Equivalent experience may be accepted.
- Minimum of one (1) year industry work experience is preferred.
- Previous experience in a GMP pharmaceutical or other regulated environment is highly preferred.
- Good oral and written communication skills are a must.
- Good computer skills are required.
- Must have an ability to provide technical engineering support in a collaborative, team-oriented project environment.
- Good documentation and record keeping skills and attention to detail are essential.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Supports the design, development and transfer of manufacturing technology into clinical and commercial operations.
- Supports other engineers in process development and engineering including design, characterization, scale-up, optimization, technology transfer and validation.
- Assists senior engineers in development manufacturing operations including spray drying and powder filling.
- Particular focus on equipment assembly, disassembly cleaning and maintenance.
- Assists with the preparation of technical reports, summaries, protocols, and/or quantitative analyses.
- Assist in routine documentation activities.
- Interfaces with members of various TRD departments.
