Jr System Administrator - Secret Clearance Job

JUNIOR SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR - SECRET CLEARANCE needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in San Diego CA.

POSSESSION OF SECRET CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED AS A CONDITION FOR EMPLOYMENT.

TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- Must have a current Secret Clearance
- Experience with Defense Information Security Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIG)
- Minimum five (5) years of related IT experience

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Provide expertise for IT infrastructure (eg Servers, network), application infrastructure (eg SAP), and related services (eg Business Continuity) throughout the life cycle of a deal in accordance with contractually established terms and conditions and established technical standards.
- Provides technical input, solutions, and recommendations to deal pursuit.
- Ability to apply intermediate level of subject matter knowledge to solve a variety of common business issues.
- Able to work on problems/projects of moderately complex scope
- Exercise independent judgment within defined practices and procedures to determine appropriate action
- Able to evaluate unique circumstances and make recommendations
- Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)
- HPUX System Administration (HP0-095)
- Basic Unix knowledge/command line/2-4 years work experience
- Experience on the following platforms: Windows Server 2003/2008 Enterprise R2, Microsoft IIS 6.0/7.5, Tomcat, JBOSS, MSSQL 2005/2008, Oracle 11g back ends.
- Experience with HP Business Service Products, Business Service Management, Universal Discovery, Network Node Manager, Operations Manager, and Business Process Monitor a plus.
- Must have excellent planning, organizational and people skills
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to work independently or in a team
- Must be able to multi-task and meet aggressive deadlines.
- Must have strong work ethic
- Some UNIX and Linux knowledge and experience
- Experience in a DOD network environment preferred

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Four to six (4-6) years minimum applicable experience
- Must have a current Secret Clearance
- High School diploma
