LOCATION:Brussels (downtown)

START DATE:ASAP

END DATE:31/12/2018 with possible extension (long term assignment)

DAILY RATE:€300 - 320

LANGUAGES:Dutch and English

We are looking for a Linux Engineer with a good knowledge of puppet to work to start on a high profile project for a large client of ours based in Brussels this is an initial 6 month contract with possible extension.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:

Linux OS (SLES 11)

Virtualization (VMWare)

Web Server (Apache)

Web Application Server (Tomcat)

Experienced as Unix/Linux System Administrator

Shell Scripting (Bash)

Monitoring (Nagios, Icinga)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Administration, implementation and maintenance of the Linux infrastructure

Implementation and maintenance of the system monitoring and management infrastructure

Linux system builds and support regarding Linux issues

Supervise the integrity and stability of the different environments (from development until production)

Automatizing and to carry out of software deployment

Administration and maintenance of development and test infrastructure

Installation and administration of the system management tools and support software services necessary to support the application.

ALSO NEEDED FOR THIS FUNCTION:

Knowledge of Puppet and related tools

Knowledge of Directory services (LDAP, FGDS)

Knowledge of Elise

Knowledge of MySQL and MongoDB
