The group implements and optimizes these feeds so that various business units within the firm can meet their needs. The day to day responsibilities would provide a great opportunity for a developer to strengthen their computer science skills by learning about performance enhancement and latency reduction.

To qualify for such a prestigious position on one of the most talented IT teams in the financial space, this person must have:

- at least 2 years of core java experience (JDBC / heavy multi-threading, collections)
- strong problem solver (algorithms and data structures)
- experience optimizing or working on low-latency systems or network programming
- self-motivated and a very strong communicator
- Bachelors degree in computer science from a top academic institution
- strong SQL background (complex joints, multiple tables, knowledge of indices)
