JR Instructional Designer

Seeking an individual to support the Training and Development Manager. To review and conduct analysis of current course content and to translate into learning and skill building solutions. The Instructional Designer will be responsible for redesigning, developing and implementing learning solutions. You will be responsible to attend project related meetings and participate in collaborative discussions focusing on support training initiatives and goals on a wide range of topics. Our training and education curriculum is evolving and requires someone that can adapt to the demands and changes that come each week.

Required Skills

Use of Articulate Storyline, to develop and deploy technology based learning solutions. Extensive experience with Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Word and Excel).

Use of Adobe Captivate is a plus.

Bachelor Degree required
Generally 3 - 5+ years' experience in related field
Must be creative, and be able to apply your ideas to course design and content.
Must be able to work with Subject Matter Experts, Project Managers as well as independently.
Must have a passion for training and development; be creative and with excellent communication skills.
Requires related professional experience in instructional application design and development.
Knowledge of adult learning principles and training management.
Experience in project management for training design and development.
Experience in the development of instructional content that can be delivered via instructor led training, online, or other identified means applicable to the team's initiative and project needs.

Work will be on client site and need to be completed during normal business hours of 8am to 5pm, 6-12 month contract with possibility to extend
