Description:
REVIEWS GENERAL LEDGER ACCOUNTS AND PREPARES AND ADJUSTS JOURNAL ENTRIES.
PERFORMS ACCOUNT ANALYSIS AND RECONCILIATION, INCLUDING BANK STATEMENTS AND INTERCOMPANY GENERAL LEDGER ACCOUNTS.
MAINTAINS THE GENERAL LEDGER CHART OF ACCOUNTS.
ASSISTS WITH INITIAL INTERNAL CONTROL EVALUATIONS.
POSTS MONTHLY, QUARTERLY AND YEARLY ACCRUALS.
Top Daily Responsibilities:
1) Preparing journals;
2) Preparing reconciliations;
3) Variance reporting;
4) Working on team based projects
REQUIREMENTS:
BA in Accounting or Finance
Strong accounting base (minimum 1 year accounting experience, more preferred)
Strong Software skills (excel/access/SQL)
Strong communication skills (has had lots of previous communication experience)
Team player
Ambitious/positive attitude.
CPA/MBA/Masters a definite plus
Standard Work Hours: 8am-5pm
