Journeyman Electrician

Yoh has a six (6) month contract opportunity for a JOURNEYMAN ELECTRICIAN to join our client in Portland, OR.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Journeyman Electrician will inspect, repair, install, modify, and maintain electrical/electronic systems, circuits and equipment.
- Journeyman Electrician will be required to follow detailed procedures to complete a full pre-startup new electrical equipment and actual energization.
- Journeyman Electrician will also confirm installations meet NEC and that feeders are correctly labeled per our client's specification and safe to energize.
- Journeyman Electrician will also direct and lead the work of others.

Job Qualifications:
- Must have familiarity with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Three (3) plus years Engineering Technology background with two to three (3) years of rework experience at a high-tech company.
- Basic rework skills, Ability to work in a team environment.
- Experience reading control drawings, and understand Arc Flash hazard (able to train).
- State of Oregon Journeyman Electrical License.
