Our client is urgently searching for a Azure Developer with Datamodelling, Azure Data Lake and implementation experience to work on a critical project in Norway as a contractor.

The role:

The Azure developer role with focus on the development and implementation of data, Datamodelling and mapping and the transformation of data within Azure. Data collection from Azure Data Lake and Azure SQL

consumed by Power BI. It is about dimensioning data, cleaning and presenting data. This requires coding as there is (to our knowledge) no out of the box tools in Azure with drag & drop that can do this. To be specific, the experts need hands-on experience with querying data in Azure Data Lake (U-SQL), setting up Data Factory and developing transformation activities in context of Data Factory. If the experts wants to do this with HDInsight tools, Stored procedures, Data Lake Analytics (U-SQL), or custom .NET activities - the developers might as it looks today have some freedom.

Our client is looking for a hands-on expert that are used to develop and manage simple and complex calculation and analytics.

Calculations can be executed several places: In the data sources itself, on its way from the sources to the data platform, on top of the data destinations in the data platform (eg Data Lake Analytics on top of Data Lake), as a part of the data factory/data transformation on its way to the model & serve layer, on top of the model & server layer (eg stored SQL procedures), in the visualization itself or as standalone microservices/Azure Functions. Our client need experts that know how to develop calculations and advice where to implement them. This has to be detailed further when the customer knows more about the needed calculations.
