KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Work with the team/colleagues collaboratively across the organisation to resolve a variety of technical problems
- Taking ownership of problems from start through to resolution
- Working with off shore offices and support teams to provide a consistent platform of applications
- Resolving local and international problems in a timely manner (may include after hours conference calls, support or in-building user relocations).
- Managing application rollouts for the supported business
- Communicating with management on outstanding problems and possible technology issues
- Logging incoming problems to a global system for tracking and reporting purposes.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- Previous experience providing 1st and 2nd level support
- MS certifications highly regarded
- Excellent technical knowledge of LANs, PC hardware and the Microsoft Windows operating systems
- Excellent technical knowledge of the Microsoft Office products
- Ability to work well both autonomously and as part of a team
- Ability to work shift hours on a rotational basis
- Ability to be on call on a rotational basis, some weekend work required
