Jnr Business Analyst

We are urgently recruiting for a Jnr Business Analyst with at least 3 years' of experience in large software development projects, to join our Brussels-based Client whose business in the aviation industry. You will need strong English language skills, both written and spoken.

Your task in brief:

- Requirements analysis and documentation keeping an eye on the technical constrains and potential evolution of existing systems.
- Follow-up of the relevant subject during development and deployment phases.
- Participation to prototyping (as Business Analyst or up to software development if applicable) as a means to better elucidate requirements.

Role summary:

- Provide coaching and support on Requirements Management process, methodology
- Provide training and support to Business Analysts within the Team
- Elucidation and elaboration of requirements taking into account systems architecture, design and technical constraints for FBs of the Releases
- Development/maintenance of service requirements according to internal processes (mainly RAP and PM) in HP ALM.
- Migration of existing requirements and models to the new requirements management tool.
- Provision of training for internal stakeholders, ie high level description of relevant topics.
- FB, Functional Block; a set of user requests grouped in a project within a Release.
- PM, Project Management.
- RAP, Requirements and Architecture process Definition.
- Knowledge of one or more of the following domains: Flight planning, Flow management, Airspace information
- Strong competences in working with requirement management systems and modelling tools such as HP-ALM and Enterprise Architect.

Technical skills required:

- Data architecture, Datamodelling, DB tools, DB design (Oracle, SQL)
- Ability to write technical documents in English
- Knowledge of Requirements Management tools like HP-ALM
- Knowledge of Modelling tools like EA
- Proficiency with MS Office tools (PPT, Excel, Word, and Visio).
